Why it matters
The difference is that nobody — including you — can bend the record.
It can't be gamed
Every reading is dated by our server in your lab's timezone. Nothing can be back-dated, and a day you miss can't be undone. The record builds itself honestly — that's what makes the certificate worth trusting.
Judged on how you work, not your results
Your success rates play no part. A lab with a hard case mix is not penalised, and nobody has a reason to flatter their numbers. Accreditation is about controlled practice — the one thing you fully control.

Day one
Create your lab
Your first lab is free for 90 days. Start daily QC with a single unit if you like; for accreditation, register the essential units (incubator, hood, workstation, gas analyser and dewar) and upload your lab's and people's documents.
Day 90
Apply
From day 90 of daily QC, a lab with every essential unit in use and its documents validated can apply. The checklist in the app shows what is still missing.
The accreditation year
Pay US$2,000, record for a year
Paying starts a twelve-month accreditation year with Daily QC recording included (a subscription you already have pauses and resumes after it). The rules are checked every night, so you always see how the year stands. Readings are needed on at least 75% of working days.
Year end
Certified if every rule was met
At the end of the year the whole year is judged. If every rule was met, the certificate is issued, emailed and published, and its public page shows the lab's status every day after. It renews each year for US$200 with a Daily QC subscription.
The rules
Published in full. The same for every lab.
The certificate is issued by the Embryologics quality system at the end of an accreditation year in which your record met every rule. Nobody signs it and nobody can wave a lab through: the record at the certificate's own address is the authority.

Your first lab's 90 free days are exactly the record accreditation looks at. After that, Daily QC is a subscription; your record is never deleted, and if you don't subscribe it stays readable, printable and exportable, just closed to new entries.

Accreditation

Judged against the Embryologics Quality Management System, a rules-based framework built on the principles of HFEA, ESHRE and ISO 15189. Paying starts your accreditation year, with a year of Daily QC recording included; the certificate issues at its end if every rule was met. After that you subscribe to record and pay US$200 a year to stay accredited. All fees are final.
